HARRY BATES & OUR HISTORY
We were established as a business in 1966 by Mr Harry Bates with an investment of £1,000. He began selling bathrooms, plumbing materials and solid fuel appliances.
With the help and support from manufacturers and loyal trade customers, Harry Bates became the leading bathroom distributor and plumbers merchant in the North West and Greater Manchester area, with his aim of providing quality products and excellent service!
Harry Bates has been a family run business since it was established in 1966 by our founder Mr Harry Bates.
Since then, Harry Bates has been at the forefront of the industry. This is thanks to our great relationships with some of the world’s biggest and best manufacturers, that continue to this day.
Our aim is to provide quality products and create spaces that not only work in harmony with your lifestyle but also reflect your personality. As well as our ever evolving portfolio, we are able to draw on our heritage and experience to offer a unique design service and technical expertise. We are proud to cater for everything from plumbing through to advice on which materials complement one another.
