Allcare Reptiles & Exotics Ltd was formed and incorporated in February 2013. We are a father and son business with a combination of having 40 years experience of keeping and breeding exotic animals. Exotics have been our hobby up to this year when we decided that we would like to turn our passion into a business. We care about our animals and want to be able to share our knowledge with others who have the same enthusiasm as we do for some of the most stunning creatures on earth.
We are donators of various wildlife charities, such as World Parrot Trust and supporters of the Federation of British Herpetologists.
We are constantly expanding our livestock range with some exciting new editions due in for arrival in the foreseeable future. For regular updates join our face book page so you can keep right up to speed with everything that’s going on.
The first phase of our business, our Reptile & Invert building is now open and ready to serve our customers. However we are still very much in development and have continued building works on going for the 2nd & 3rd phases which will be our Exotic bird section. We also have landscaping works ongoing for the immediate future. Please accept our apologies for any disruption and inconvenience caused by these works which we hope to have completed as soon as possible.
Can we also please ask that you park considerately when visiting us so as not to upset our neighbours as we are based in a residential area.
At Allcare Reptiles & Exotics we care about our animals. As standard procedure new arrivals are quarantined, until we are satisfied that all is well with them. We also have our vet who we consult with if we spot anything untoward to ensure that when we sell something to our customers we are confident that it comes with a clean bill of health.
All animals are sold with a care sheet so you can reference your animal’s requirements but should you require any information or guidance are knowledgeable staff are always at the end of a phone to help.
All animals come with a 48 hour guarantee from date of purchase. If you are unhappy with your animal purchase or in the unlikely event that your animal dies or you have encountered any other problem we will either replace any animal if this is possible or offer a full refund. In the event of death replacement or refunds will only be given, provided we are satisfied that the animal in question received the correct care and environment in which to live.
Monkey World have been collecting signatures for a petition which is to be presented to the select committee in the House of Commons to better regulate the standard of care of primates kept in pet shops, or by breeders or as pets in private homes. This has to be the best way forward to reduce the suffering of these superb animals. Remember we are a nation of animal lovers, so what’s the problem. Lets do what’s right !!!! I am proud to say that my signature is on the list.

At Allcare Reptiles & Exotics we will be supplying parrots & parakeets and we want people to enjoy these beautiful birds for what they are, but we are rigid about our policies. It is my personal view that no species of Parakeet should be kept in a cage and nor should they be kept on their own for long periods of time. These birds are adapted with their streamlined shape to fly. They are constantly on the move and their quality of life will be greatly increased if they are housed in an aviary and in pairs. Some would argue that hand reared conures and other South American Parakeet species and indeed Asian Species such as Ringneck Parakeets make good cage birds. Whilst they can become very tame it does not detract from the fact that they need plenty of exercise. This may seem controversial but as usual I am thinking more about what’s best for the birds then anything else. Therefore any parakeet species offered for sale at Allcare Reptiles & Exotics Ltd will only be sold as aviary birds. We will not be stocking any cages considered suitable for these type of birds but will stock everything you need from food to aviary accessories to meet their requirements.
