Total Clean always seeks to deliver the most ethical practices through all of its activities. Through our service to our clients, we take great care to source tailored, own-brand chemical products and consumables from sustainable forestry. We also select our company vehicles based upon the lowest emissions where possible resulting in ISO 14001 environmental registration.
Total Clean also subscribes to CO2 Balance as a voluntary extension to its environmental policies. CO2 Balance offer carbon footprint calculations, carbon management and reduction services and an ethical way to offset greenhouse gas emissions through Gold Standard energy efficiency projects.
Total Clean was started by Carlos’ parents in 1988. Before taking full responsibility for the business, Carlos worked in banking and fulfilled his national service commitment in the Spanish Army. He took over the business in 1995, pledging to maintain his parents’ ethos of delivering consistently excellent service. As well as managing Total Clean, Carlos was also accumulating vast business experience in starting and running a number of other successful businesses.
The proven business model that is the foundation of the Total Clean Franchise opportunity was built and tested by Carlos. Our franchise partners have full access to his support, knowledge and guidance to ensure their businesses are as successful as possible.
Javid joined Total Clean as Commercial Director in April 2016 and is responsible for ensuring the continued growth and success of both the London business and the wider franchise network. He is a CIMA qualified Accountant and has 11 years’ experience working in senior roles for MITIE, a leading FTSE 250 outsourcing provider, most recently as Managing Director for one of their subsidiary companies.
His aims are to ensure that we continue to create value for clients and the business by developing sustainable and innovative solutions that deliver a high quality service at a competitive price, whilst operating ethically and responsibly.
Javid supports the existing franchise network with personal visits, and telephone and email support. He assists franchisees in every aspect of achieving growth within their businesses including sales, marketing, bid creation support, cost modelling advice, enhancing USPs and building case studies to demonstrate expertise across business sectors.
Philip’s role with Total Clean includes managing operations for the London business and supporting the Franchise Partner network. He trains all the franchisees on the business system ‘Enterprise’ and supports them with any system issues or queries relating to setting up company/contract records, invoicing and supplier order requests.
Tracy joined Total Clean in March 2016 as Marketing and Franchise Development Manager. She has over 16 years’ experience in financial services marketing and is enjoying putting her skills to good use in a completely new business.
Tracy’s remit covers all aspects of marketing for all areas of the Total Clean business, including the websites, email campaigns, PR, marketing collateral and advertising. She supports the existing Total Clean Franchise Partners with marketing their businesses, including maintaining and developing their individual websites to ensure relevant and topical content is posted regularly and coordinating email campaigns to prospective and existing clients. She also helps to expand the Total Clean franchise network by recruiting additional Franchise Partners, who she guides and advises through the franchise awarding process.
Sofia is fluent in English and Portuguese and also has a BTEC in Business, which has helped her quick progression within the company. She supports Total Clean’s expanding network of Franchise Partners by assisting with setting up of new contracts, invoicing and reconciliation of accounts, as well as dealing with telephone enquiries on their behalf.
Total Clean’s London-based business development managers provide assistance to our Franchise Partners when putting together contract proposals, including obtaining bid content for different sectors, pricing enquiries on ad hoc tasks and general advice on our specialist services, sales issues and starting new contracts. Additional support is available from the Head Office team with telesales campaigns and dealing with queries from clients.
All our existing franchise partners are willing to share their experiences of becoming a Total Clean franchisee with new members of the team and will assist them in overcoming any issues they may encounter.
