R A Design is run and managed by Chris Strike and Tom Russell who took on the business from Robert Allen in 2009. The business continues to grow from strength to strength and we very much look forward to working with new and existing clients.
Robert Allen Architects St Ives was established in 1991. Due to ill health Robert Allen had to retire in 2009. The company was taken over by Chris Strike and Tom Russell who were well established employees of Robert Allen Architects for a number of years, Since then RA Design has grown from strength to strength. Our main office is in The Guildhall in St Ives with fantastic views over the harbour but we also work from our homes in Helston.
Plans, Elevations, Site Plans, Design & Access Statement, Application forms. We will also organise any external consultancy services that may be required. We are also Accredited Agents of Cornwall Council.
All detailed drawings required to provide you with a Building Regulation approval. We are partnered with Cornwall Council and also work with an independent Building Control Company.
This will involve construction detailing, schedules & specifications which would then be sent to out to selected contractors. We also work closely with Quantity Surveyors to help with budgeting where required.
We can oversee your project on site and act as Contract Administrators. R A Design can also offer CML/PCC certificate's on all new build and conversion projects please visit the links below for more details.
We can provide Design SAP calculations and PEA (Predicted Energy Assessments) for all new build dwellings and conversions. We will also provide you with an EPC certificate on completion.
