I started at Woodlands in December 2016 and I am also working at Westfield Primary School for the past 5 years. I feel that this has helped me gain many skills when working alongside the children. I’m also a mother of 3 – two boys and a girl. During my years of working with children, I have developed strong skills in supporting young children.

I joined Woodlands in June this year to help during the end of term. I have previously worked for Woodlands when it was based on Barnsbury School site. I have 3 children and several grandchildren. I have also worked for many years at Barnsbury Buddies’ after school/holiday club, leaving earlier this year.

Afternoon sessions run for 2.5 hours, are more low-key and help children to play in a group environment, learning how to share and to socialise. The routine is as follows:

Parents are also invited to volunteer their time or skills or to be placed on our emergency help list. We look forward to welcoming new helpers.
