Molehill Construction was started by Alex Mole in 2010. Alex has been in the building trade since 2006 where he trained primarily as a plasterer and master builder, but acquired many other skills including carpentry and plumbing.
In 2012 Luke Evans joined as a director in Molehill, Luke brings a vast array of experience with building & renovation. Luke started in the building trade after leaving school. He begun as a labourer and has learnt all aspects of the trade through personal achievements and dedication. Luke’s previous role, before Molehill Construction, as a Site Manager meant that when he joined Molehill he had an instant effect on helping Molehill Construction move forward.
Molehill can undertake all aspects of building work but specialise in extension through the team’s wide-ranging experience and industry partners including skilled and certified plumbers, electricians and gas specialists; all vetted and trained to a high standard. Molehill is a certified trader through the Bath & North East Somerset Council and UK Government run Buy With Confidence trading standards scheme. We are a registered limited company in England and Wales No 07583058. We have full public liability.

Alex Mole founded Molehill Construction as a one-man band back in 2010 and has steadily grown the business to a team of over 20 today. Alex’s philosophy is simple – work with the customer to understand their every needs and never compromise on quality. Together with his managing partner, Luke Evans, Molehill Construction now operates from a large facility in Oldfield Park. Molehill’s fleet of vans can often be seen around the streets of Bath, busily moving between customer work sites, builders merchants and the office.
When not juggling the day to day strains of running a large building firm, Alex is father to two wonderful children. As a family man, Alex knows the importance of delivering quality work on-time to customers – many of whom are families themselves. In the small free time Alex has, he can be found smashing racquets on the badminton courts, or occaisonally on the golf course, losing balls to the long rough.
