Who we are
Ralph is Director of Inclusive Neighbourhoods Ltd.
As Director of Inclusive Neighbourhoods Ltd, with the great support of Eddie Bartnik and other colleagues, he led the development of Local Area Coordination in England and Wales and now also developing new conversations internationally.
Inclusive Neighbourhoods Ltd established and developed the Local Area Coordination Network, initially as part of Inclusive Neighbourhoods and then as a Community Interest Company (CIC) to support the long term development, learning and sustainability of Local Area Coordination in England and Wales.
“The Isle of Wight Council’s Public Health Department commissioned Inclusive Neighbourhoods in 2014 to work with them in the design, development and implementation of Local Area Coordination for the Island. This was a true partnership, with Inclusive Neighbourhoods spending time getting to know and understand the island, it’s leadership, health and social care system, and local issues.
With the extensive support of Inclusive Neighbourhoods we were able to build a programme that was consistent with the evidence, and locally relevant, hence embedded in, and integral to our prevention and early intervention strategy and the island’s New Model of Care. The programme is consistently delivering the predicted outcomes, thanks to the support from Inclusive Neighbourhoods with the development, advice and guidance.
We are very pleased with the exceptionally high quality of service we received, professionalism, commitment and ‘nothing is too much trouble’ approach. We certainly got REALLY good value for money.”
Inclusive Neighbourhoods established and hosted the Local Area Coordination Network as a way of building connections, supportive relationships and shared learning and improvement across England and Wales – a community of reflection, practice and learning.
We have subsequently established the Network as a Community Interest Company (CIC), becoming active in late 2016 – you can find out more about the Local Area Coordination Network via
We are now also supporting new conversations in non UK sites – watch this space.
