About Devon Quality Fish
Devon Quality Fish is a small, friendly wholesale fish business based in Exmouth, Devon. The majority of our produce is caught in Lyme Bay, the most productive bay around the British Isles. Our shellfish varies from the tastiest shore shrimp to the common edible crab. Equally, our available wet fish ranges from simple whitebait to its natural predator, the stunning sea bass, or the bottom dwelling fish such as the common dab and the succulent turbot. We also stock an extensive range of frozen goods.
Jon Gosling explains the company's ethos:
I have been fishing since the age of 12 and my son, who has now taken over the running of our trawler/scalloper, the Two Brothers ll, has grown up at sea with me. I bought Devon Quality Fish with a view to supplying the retail trade with fresh, quality seafood, from our own and other local boats right into the kitchen, same-day to ensure freshness.
