Who we are
Claire has recently been promoted to Clinical Manager at Down House Dental Practice. This means she is responsible for maintaining the high clinical standards we believe you should expect from us. She will also be delivering our Oral Health Education programme to children and adults. Away from work, Claire has a keen interest in gardening, cooking and tirelessly raises money for the Marie Curie Nurses.
Maureen has worked for Down House Dental Practice for many years. In addition to her nursing she is responsible for the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults as well as maintaining our emergency drugs and stocks. Maureen enjoys swimming, walking and reading in her spare time.
Ashley Hall joined the practice in August 2014 as an apprentice and now, having recently gained her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing qualification, she is about to continue her training into Treatment Coordination at the practice. Ashley works full time as a Dental Nurse at the practice and also works with patients finding them suitable finance options to help spread the cost of their treatment. In her spare time Ashley enjoys horse riding, trips to the cinema and spending time with friends and family.

We offer a comprehensive private dental service for adults that includes tooth restoration, alignment and replacement at an affordable price. We also provide a limited NHS service for children. Established 50 years ago our highly skilled team of dental surgeons can help you improve the look of your teeth, find a solution to your toothache, or simply ensure they remain healthy. Our cutting edge practice in Steyning, serving Brighton, Horsham and Worthing, has a friendly atmosphere and welcomes all new patients.
Whether your teeth are chipped, cracked, decayed or missing altogether, we can provide an effective, aesthetically pleasing solution.
If you are registered with our practice and a dental emergency occurs during office hours, please get in touch and we will try to see you on the same day. There may be a bit of a wait and due to time constraints, the treatment we are able to administer may only be temporary, but we will make you a priority and reduce any pain you may be feeling.
If you are not registered with the practice, we can still help. We will endeavour to help you within 24 hours of you calling our reception team. How quickly we can respond to you will depend on how busy we are.
If you have been referred to us by your dentist, it is probably because you need a particular treatment we provide, that your dentist does not. We will work with your dentist and you to provide you with the treatment you need. Please get in touch if you have any questions, or to arrange a time for your consultation.
