On a personal note, being a mother of 4 children, I strive to provide a service that I would have been happy to bring my children to. I have a strong passion for my work and pride myself on being available and going the ‘extra mile’ for all of those children and families who come to Footsteps. I try to be personally involved/informed with all our clients as much as is practically possible.
I have 4 children and I enjoy working hands on with clients and being able to help them achieve potential positive steps in leading the best quality of life.
Since qualifying as an occupational therapist I have worked in stroke rehabilitation, wheelchair services, social care reablement before moving into Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I have just started my Sensory Integration training which I am excited about as I feel it will be crucial to help me raise awareness for how difficulties with sensory processing can manifest as behavioural/mental health difficulties.
For 2017, we are pleased to announce we are developing an additional therapy base in North Devon.
