In parallel ,she has persuaded her passion for finance ,graduating with honors The Business Studies College ,from London.Her thirst for dealing with and understanding people has also developed and she is currently studying psychology in order to expand her knowledge and perfect her abilities to interact with and provide support to a diverse range of people. Her skills,experience and also her

  kind sympathetic personalty contributes a unique strength to our Company.

John English joins CASL as a consultant to the Company. Aged 64, his background is in commercial and residential property development, investment and agency. He has always had a social conscience, contributing to many charities over the years and now sees an association with CASL as a very practical way of assisting people in these very challenging economic circumstances. He brings a wealth of experience in the property and housing sectors and will be principally concerned with extending the spheres of influence and activities of CASL to reach more of those who find themselves in financial difficulties or with housing related problems.

Nessa graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2007, where she obtained an LLB law degree. She then went on to work for high street law firms where she specialised in all areas of social security, community care and housing laws. She has extensive experience of providing representation at County Court and First-Tier Tribunal hearings as well as dealing with appeals to the Upper Tribunal. She was mostly involved in cases concerning homelessness, possession action and access to means and non-means tested welfare benefits.

She has a keen interest in helping vulnerable members of the society such as financially disadvantaged families, elderly and disabled people. She enjoys working in collaboration with Community Advice Service Ltd to provide residents of Social Housing Providers with specialist advice to help them improve their financial situation by accessing the right benefits and taking positive and informed action to avoid losing their homes.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our aim is to prevent homelessness through a blend of charitable and commercial considerations to ensure long term provision of service to residents of social housing providers. CASL delivers a specialist professional service personally tailored to the various needs of the community whilst maintaining a highly commercial approach to efficiency, cost control and economies of scale.
