Tim Reeves started work in the music business with Virgin Records in 1988. He went on to set up his own Dance label, Tomato Records and then went into management.
A career change saw him start work at the Chapel Pub in the west of London, one of the earlier great gastro pubs. There he became reacquainted withNigel, with whom he had previously worked selling falafels at Glastonbury Nigel offered Tim a job as assistant chef at Lodge Catering, where he was head chef. After two years' working together they developed their idea to set up a specialist al fresco catering company.
Nigel Tunnicliff entered the catering industry at the ripe old age of 14. Years of hard graft saw him work his way up to the position of Head Chef at the Dolphin Hotel, Poole. Eight years of living and working in foreign lands far and wide provided him with a wealth of culinary experience. He returned to the UK to work for some of the finest catering companies around. For several years he ran a celebrated food stall at the Glastonbury Rock Festival – where he met Tim Reeves.

Our food is over-seen by joint owner and chef Nigel Tunicliffe whose imagination and flair has helped our clients create some truly memorable occasions which are talked about long after the event. Nigel is a specialist in barbecue and woodfired cooking, as a result Blistering have the reputation as the country's foremost al fresco caterers.
