CPMC specialise in a sphere of surveying colloquially known as “Neighbourly Matters”, which includes rights of light, daylight and sunlight, the Party Wall Act 1996, access issues and condition scheduling. We also undertake large project management, employer’s agent and contract administration roles. The importance of obtaining good quality, clear advice relating to neighbourly matters has never been more relevant. Recent case law, particularly with regard to rights of light, has made neighbouring owners more aware of their position and brought this easement’s power sharply into focus.
