After selling Kudos in 1994, Paul went on to pioneer the role of the cocktail consultant, establishing himself as one of the very first cocktail advisors to the UK spirits industry, during which period he also began to create and deliver some of the most impactful industry training courses available.

With a passion for human connection & communication, driven by a desire to release our inner potential, Paul has transformed the careers of thousands of hospitality professionals and the fortunes of hundreds of hospitality businesses.

A multiple best-selling author, Paul's latest book

comes from another of his loves, British Sign Language. He is qualified in BSL to level 3 and has taught the subject at introductory level also. This unique perspective on non-verbal communication informs his refreshing approach and features as a key influence in many of his courses and keynote talks. In fact, the combination of hospitality expertise and communication skill training has resulted in Paul being sought by businesses outside of the hospitality industry too. As such he has delivered keynote talks for clients as diverse as BSkyB, Volkswagen, Sainsburys, Red Bull and BBC among many others.
