Dibble Optical opened for business in 2009 as the exclusive UK distributor for Breitfeld & Schliekert, which is more commonly known as B&S. This is a long-established German organisation, which was founded in 1927 in Rathenow.
The B&S range of products is presented in two catalogues, and widely accepted to be the most comprehensive within the optical industry. There are literally thousands of products represented in the blue Workshop Catalogue, covering almost every aspect of spectacle manufacture, repair and adjustment. The orange Accessories Catalogue contains a comprehensive range of practice accessories, including prescription swimming goggles, prescription sports eyewear, sports safety eyewear, reading glasses and a range of lens cleaning products.
The company are distributors for the full range of 3M LEAP adhesive pads and has rapidly asserted itself as one of the leading suppliers of these products in the UK.
The Miraflex range of paediatric frames were launched by the company exclusively in the UK and Eire during 2010. These delightful frames are anatomically designed to distribute the weight of the corrective lens and frame over a larger surface, thereby increasing wearer comfort. The trendy plastic frames are virtually indestructible, have no metal parts and are hinge-free. They are available in up to 30 colours and suitable for children and babies from age 3 months to young adults. They are particularly suited to spectacle wearers with special needs. The Miraflex range was expanded with the Flexible & Fashion and Flexible & Light collections in October 2015.
The Dibble Optical Service Centre is able to provide an efficient onsite glazing service for spectacles and custom swimming goggles with a newly-installed state of the art lens edging workshop.
