Marches Biogas is an anaerobic digestion (AD) engineering company that was formed in 2009. The company has extensive experience of plant design, equipment manufacture, installation and ‘operation and maintenance’ from years of working within the industry and having built and maintained over 30 anaerobic digestion plants across the UK, ranging from 50 kWe to 2MWe utilising feedstocks including energy crops, farm slurries, food and industrial wastes.
Marches Biogas works closely with Water companies and their partners helping them to maintain and operate their sludge digesters safely and efficiently.
While Marches Biogas has always offered independent AD engineering services a significant part of the business has been the design and installation of turnkey AD plants.
There has recently been a decline in the demand for these types of projects so over the past months we have been working to refocus the business through the delivery of our core services by setting up separate support and consultancy divisions. This is now being formalised through the establishment of Evolution Biogas and Principle Biogas.

Principle Biogas is the consultancy division of Marches Biogas Ltd. Principle Biogas is an independent engineering consultancy dedicated to anaerobic digestion with extensive knowledge and experience of the processes and with the range of equipment utilised by many technology providers.
