Qualified Yacht Surveyor Richard Cray Beng (Hons), MIIMS, DipMarSur is a UK Independent Marine Surveyor. Our Marine Surveyors business is based on the South Coast in Hampshire at Deacons Boatyard on the River Hamble. However, I survey vessels throughout the UK and Internationally with the most exotic location being in the Galapagos Islands. I am a seasoned traveller and I know the most cost effective ways to traverse the globe.

I have gained breadth in the surveying discipline and craft types through sub-contracting myself to a global surveying business. I have conducted work on some of the world's famous super-yachts to large commercial vessels. This work has meant extensive travel and exposure to many different issues that can arise. I have applied these learnings to my surveying process on all vessels, regardless of size and type.
