ARS (Stoke-on-Trent) Ltd and are general and specialised hauliers which has operated now for over 30 years. Richard Watts began with reclaimed railway sleepers 30 years ago when he was working in the farming industry and from that the business quickly grew.

Originally the company name was ‘Roy Watts and Son’ , but 10 years later David Heath joined and the business was renamed to Heath & Watts. The business operated and transported sleepers all over Europe, however today it specialises in just the UK.

Heath and Watts are General And Specialised Hauliers, we have operated now for more than 20 years. One of the main element sof our business is the supply of reclaimed concrete railway sleepers, we can deliver these on a sale base only, or we can do the work for you, we have managed installations of 1000-40,000 sleepers. Over the years we have gained a reputation as one of the foremost suppliers of concrete railway sleepers and our experience in installation in various applications, especially laying roadways. We work closely with Network Rail maintaining supplies of concrete railway sleepers throughout the UK for the railway infrastructure both delivering and offloading trackside and also removing old rail and railway sleepers.

Concrete railway sleepers are made from steel reinforced concrete making them an extremely strong and durable material for a multitude of secondary uses.
