Many GP's have opted out of late surgeries and night calls. Getting an appointment is often difficult. The Well - One Clinic is an alternative provision, an independent private clinic set up as a social enterprise, any profits to be ploughed back into further health care for our community and some to health care charity work abroad. Some volunteer staff will help us and as we grow we will increase the range of health care on offer. Our aim is to have a team of consultants who will provide a range of specialities so that patients do not have to travel into Hull hopsitals for this facility. We are aiming to be on the choose and book system which will give the opportunity to select the Well - One Clinic for some NHS care. The need for more input into healthcare at home services is obvious as hospitals are reducing their bed numbers. Our nursing team will be available to help.
