Carter & Coley, founded circa 1914, has approximately 100 years of experience in providing advice to small and medium size businesses, predominantly in Hampshire and Dorset. Our offices are strategically placed in the centre of Bournemouth and offer free on-site parking for our clients.
The firm incorporated in 2014. With two directors and 16 staff we are large enough to have the resources to cater for the needs of local businesses without being so big that the client becomes just a number. We use up-to-date specialist computer systems to ensure that you, the client, are provided with the best possible service.
Andrew qualified in 1986 with a national firm and joined Carter & Coley the following year. Whilst having a broad client base, he specialises in corporate clients whose turnover exceeds £1 million.
His expertise includes the prompt preparation of regular management accounts for numerous businesses in a variety of industries and liaising closely with their owners. Andrew has particular experience in the hotel, construction and transport industries, as well as in the academy schools and charity sectors. He is the firm's audit compliance partner and responsible for the office IT systems.
Tony Cooke qualified in 1981 in London, joined Carter & Coley in 1983 and was made partner in 1986. In addition to his general business background, he also specialises in the accounting and taxation affairs of flat management companies and the complexities that can arise on a freehold acquisition by flat owners.
