John is key to Paneltech not only because he started the company but because he has such a hands on role in every aspect of it. His background has given him a high level of expertise in electrical and mechanical processes, PLC programming, Computer Aided Design and project management. Passing on this knowledge and growing his team, John instils confidence and belief to his workforce and just as importantly to his customers. Customer liaison is his forte, quickly grasping the client's needs and converting them to a realised end result.

Another project, completed in December 2013, is a new containerised housing initiative for the homeless in Brighton, East Sussex. We have worked alongside many other agencies to convert shipping containers into homes which will provide housing for 36 people for five years. Paneltech manufactured all the Juliette balconies, other balconies, walkways, stairs and handrails to bring the complex together. In February 2012, we worked on a 2000tonne bitumen storage facility in Gabon, Africa, demonstrating how every department of the company combined its expertise and came together to ensure a total turnkey solution.
The Parish Church of St. Michael's in London carried out a major overhaul of their magnificent pipe organ, the oldest in the City. Paneltech provided control systems for this historic renovation.
In 2007, Paneltech was incorporated to become Paneltech Systems Ltd and also saw the introduction of a full fabrication and welding workshop at our premises in East Sussex. This enabled us to provide a much wider range of mechanical services including the manufacture of pipe work systems, pump skids, ISO container conversions, general structural steel work and domestic/decorative fabrication work.
