Hoopers are established as a Limited Company and recognised as Architects. Craig Driver RIBA became a director in 2006, since then the practice has specialised in the Education sector with Craig’s previous County Council design-led experience. The Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia is the practice’s main Educational client. Over the last ten years there has been an emphasis on the practices design capabilities and further specialist experience with Historic Buildings and within the Healthcare sector.

The team consist of three Architects, an Architectural Technologist/historic building specialist, Part I and II architectural assistants, business manager and support staff with a mix of experience from across the country.

Hoopers operate throughout East Anglia to provide a full and effective service. We pride ourselves on the ability to work to a format to suit our client’s requirements. The practice has always worked in a 3D environment operating CAD software on Mac work stations, which is one of only four BIM capable/accredited packages. Recent, self funded and motivated, investment into the practices BIM capabilities have been undertaken. The practices drawing expertise has been applied to a current project to explore the extent to which we are capable of providing and shown that we are currently capable of providing a service between BIM levels 1 & 2. With the support of BIM ready consultants, client’s and suitable projects we find ourselves in a position ready to progress to a level where we could fully co-ordinate, advise and deliver a 3D model based service for the planning, design, construction and management of a building. We are continually developing new techniques to provide a professional visualisation and presentation service using a wide variety of skills by-hand and using Artlantis Studio, Indesign and Photoshop Software.
