Vista Care ensures that individuals and their families receive consistent support of the highest quality throughout the transition stage.
Supporting individuals with a variety of needs, Vista Care is focused on partnership working to achieve the best outcomes. Rather than people coming into a brand new home and having to start again, Vista Care staff spend time at their home, exsiting service, or in schools; learning about their unique stories and histories. Our staff ensure that none of this vital information, about someone's successes and achievements, as well as the challenges they face, is lost. Working closely with families, carers, teachers and support workers, Vista Care staff devise personalised support packages that are individualised and meet their needs.

Our Philosophy on Staff
Its important to us that the people who live in our care homes are supported and cared for by staff who are appropriately qualified and have a very good understanding of their job role. All staff complete a full in-house induction before commencing the 12-week Skills for Care Common Induction Standards. As part of the in-house induction programme all mandatory training is completed which includes; SOVA, health and safety, fire safety, safe handling of medicines, manual handling, food hygiene, infection control, person centered planning, mental capacity, deprivition of liberty safeguards, managing challenging behaviours and epilepsy. Autism and implementing the principles of TEACCH training is provided and is tailored to meet the individual needs of the people who we support. Training is regularly reviewed and updated. Staff are also given the opportunity to work towards the Health and Social Care Diplomas.
The Managers at Vista Care
Staff are recruited on the basis of an equal opportunities policy. We seek to employ staff with a range of expertise and from varied backgrounds, who will support service users in their development. We seek to recruit staff on the basis of their qualifications, experience and their compatibility with the service users; reflecting where possible racial, age and cultural backgrounds. In addition, staff must also share our values in the delivery of services. Teams are organised in such a way as to provide continuity and flexibility of support.
