Company History
Founded in 1988 by Terry Kelloway, K Two Sales began to manufacture heavy duty high specification farm machinery suited to requirements of the modern farmer and contractor.
The company’s original product line up was focused on the manufacture of twin drum mowers and swath conditioners which got the company established in the agricultural machinery market. Product development and opportunities in the early years of the company saw K Two design and build a range of tandem axle, horizontal beater muck spreaders which later were updated into the single axle, vertical beater machines that we are most familiar with today although the tandem axle models are now making a comeback in the form of larger capacity machines.
Further company expansion came in the late 1990’s when K Two took over the manufacturing and parts supply of W. J. Cooper farm machinery.
In 2003 K Two introduced their popular and well-reputed range of Roadeo tipping trailers, built upon the same high quality and specification foundations as the existing ranges manure spreaders. Popular with many new and existing customers, the Roadeo trailers expanded the business into new areas with the range quickly growing to include dump trailers and flatbed bale trailers.
2005 saw K Two take over the manufacturing of the popular Fraser Muckmaster barrel spreader which broadened our manure spreader offering, which lasted until 2015 when manufacturing of this long-standing product was finally drawn to close, with all spare parts business transferred to Hunton Legg Ltd.
K Two Sales brings their manufacturing expertise into the manufacture of their Aeravator grassland aerators. Available in a 3m working width, with two models, one with a water ballast tank and one with a weight tray, they are designed to improve pastureland by relieving surface compaction with their hard-wearing blades.
Farm manager Alex Pyke explains their reasons for purchasing the Bio spreader, “We are no longer dealing with a waste product which used to be piled onto fields at any opportunity. We have improved the value of our manure by spreading it accurately and efficiently.”
Alfred Moore, father of brothers Wesley, Brian and Raymond, would be proud to see the latest edition to the family business. Moores of Froxton, Devon, have just taken delivery of six 12 tonne Roadeo Silage trailers from K Two Sales in Buckinghamshire.
Putting them straight into service, working on over 10,000 acres around the Devon / Cornwall borders, the family business has gone from strength to strength since 1950 when Alfred started with a Fordson Major E27N, a machine still running today.
The Moores were impressed by the Roadeo’s commercial axle with 10 stud hubs and 420 x 180 mm brakes which ensure the safest and most efficient braking. Fitted alongside springs, K Two Sales added load sensors to the specification at Wesley’s request.
K Two Sales is a family run business established in the 1980s. We manufacture high-quality farm machinery, using the very latest equipment and work to the highest engineering standards, ensuring that our products will perform efficiently and last for many years.
