ABOUT JONATHAN PARTRIDGE OPTOMETRISTS LIMITED

Jonathan Partridge Optometrists is a family run business based in Welshpool. Our aim is to provide the best possible standard of eye care to all our patients, many of whom now travel to us from an ever increasing area.

Jonathan and his wife Beverley founded Jonathan Partridge Optometrists in April 1990. With the help of various tradesmen and friends we gutted, renovated and redecorated the Grade II listed building ourselves. In 1996 we obtained the premises next door and expanded the practice to have a downstairs consulting room.

It's the continual investment in and upgrading of all aspects of our practice that allows us to provide the best possible standard of eye care to our patients.

We are a DVLA Approved Visual Field Testing. Anyone with a medical condition that may affect the visual field is required by the DVLA to carry out the test. The test is painless and involves identifying a series of lights within the visual field.

We are an Acuvue Centre of Excellence. A contact lens assessment and fitting service is available after an initial examination, using state of the art technology to establish your eyes health and suitability to wear contact lenses.

Low Vision Service Wales is a Welsh Assembly funded scheme to enable Optometrists to determine a person's residual vision, then improve it with various Optical and non-Optical devices. The assessment will also provide patients with information about additional services available within the local area.
