We are an independent family run business established over 17 years, based in Barnsley town centre providing eye tests, contact lens examinations, vision screening for VDU operators, occupational vision screening (Army, Fire Service etc.).

We provide thorough eye examinations including glaucoma screening, child vision assessment, Ocular and adnexa examination, additional tests like colour vision assessment, fields etc if deemed appropriate.

We aim to provide a personal and professional approach to all our clients from entry to the store, through to the eye test and choosing spectacles and collection of new frames. Welcome to C.A. Raison Optica. We are a family run opticians based in Barnsley Town Centre. Our practice is modern with up to the minute technology used for testing eyes, glazing spectacles and fitting spectacles.

Our onsite laboratory allows for our clients to have spectacles made within a short period. We perform first class quality control and our clients can benefit from a perfect product at a fantastic price!

We are fully equipped for home eye tests in Barnsley, so can confidently attend peoples homes for an examination and new spectacles if they are unable to come to Barnsley town centre.

We are open Monday to Saturday, 9am until 5.30 pm
