Since its inception back in 1992 Parking Control Management UK Ltd has become recognised as one of the UK's leading car park management companies, providing full-service solutions for all types and sizes of car parks. Parking Control Management's reputation has been built upon our responsible and principled approach to enforcment. By making sure PCM stays up to date with the latest technology and processes, we are able to deliver an increasingly effective parking solution for our clients throughout the UK.
We have found that since using a professional vehicle enforcement company our numerous parking problems have been dramatically reduced across our portfolio, residents that park correctly are never affected and the only losers tend to be people that have ignored every other method. We usually find after an initial high presence patrols are significantly reduced as the threat of vehicle enforcement remains. On some estates that had previously suffered continual parking issues the problems remain solved on what seems to be on a permanent basis. To us vehicle enforcement is a self-funding program that offers a final solution, reacting to parking problems on a random basis.
The single most important aspect of having the right to enforce vehicles is Health & Safety, because such a regime is more to do with deterrent than punishment. We manage many properties where unauthorised parking by trespassers leads to those with legitimate having to park or to load/unload goods in an unsafe manner. All of our sites are subject to regular Health & Safety inspections and one of the single most common failing is out of control parking. The enforcement deterrent helps to ensure pedestrians can move safely around a site and that delivery vehicles can carry out their operations in a safe, controlled environment… Since employing PCM on our sites that I manage, our tenants are generally happy and we have had no incidents of legitimate complaint from members of the public.
