Since our formation in 1998 we have gained a reputation for developing and delivering innovative and effective Leadership and Management Development workshops and business improvement initiatives to a wide range of organisations.
We are delighted to have been selected by Welsh Government to continue to provide subsidised Leadership and Management Development training workshops in South East and Mid Wales as one of their network of quality assured providers.
We provide workshops tailored to individual company’s needs, whether an SME or Large Organisation. We also provide a range of Open Workshops mainly targeted at Business Owners and Leaders who want to increase their skills and develop their businesses.
I set up Blue Sky in December 1998 with the specific aim of helping organisations and people to do things better and to have some fun along the way. Since setting up Blue Sky I have worked with companies from a range of sectors including manufacturing, housing, local government and construction.
I am committed to continuous learning and self development, I combine full time employment with part-time study and was awarded my PhD in 2006. Prior to setting up Blue Sky I worked in major multinational organisations as a Training Manager, Production Manager, Performance Improvement Manager and other management roles that required leadership and focus to achieve successful outcomes. I use this wealth of practical experience and expert knowledge to help business leaders, their teams and individuals to grow and develop.
Working with Alun is inspiring; we work very closely as a team - I support Alun with his administration which gives him more time to work directly with his clients, helping them to be more successful.
Being a business owner myself I have a great synergy with Alun and his team.
I have 2 grown up children and 4 delightful grandchildren (I was a child bride!!) My family keep me very busy and young at heart, and my business keeps me sane.

Hannah attended the University of Glamorgan and studied Event Management in which she graduated with a 2:1 in 2011. After graduating, Hannah carried out a Go Wales placement working as a PA to an MD of a media company then moving on to working at a business support organisation as an administrator, soon being moved up to marketing assistant and then promoted to marketing executive within just a few months.
The skills developed in these positions have helped Hannah understand both the public and private sector and underpin her professional approach and enthusiasm for her work.

Emily Allison joined Blue Sky Business Solutions as an Associate in 2011. Emily has over 17 years’ experience in the Training & Coaching Sector as Business Development Professional.
She has assisted a variety of Training Providers throughout her career to engage organisations across both public and private sectors to achieve their training and development objectives by promoting Lean, Six Sigma, Leadership and Management qualifications (ilm), Coaching and Bespoke Solutions as well as accessing relevant funding opportunities for them. Emily has also introduced providers to work together on collaborative opportunities.
