Any article left for repair or sent in for repair not collected within twelve months, or such period not less than 3 months TORTS (INTERFERENCE WITH GOODS) ACT 1977 as may be stated, may be disposed of by Leathergoods and Luggage Repairs Ltd and the proceeds applied to defray the process charge. This right will be exercised only after all reasonable attempts have been made to contact the customer with a view to his/her collecting the articles and paying the appropriate charge. Our normal procedure is to contact the owner at regular intervals for the first 3 months, using the information supplied by the customer, (any changes to those details are the responsibility of the customer to provide in writing ) and thereafter at periodic intervals until 11 months from the date of receipt of repair. Then the item will be disposed in the above manner.
