We’re an independent retailer, and we’re proud to say that we are still a local family business. The original business was established in 1934, and in the 1950s was developed by Fred Booker into Leightons Carpets, selling carpet squares and lino. The second generation of the family – Neal, Chris and Suzanne – have expanded the company over the last two decades to become the flourishing retail organisation it is today. We operate from four sites within Yorkshire, offering an impressive range, buying power and value.

Over the years we have accumulated a vast depth of experience, and this is what our customers appreciate. Though styles and manufacturing techniques in flooring, furniture and fabrics have changed hugely since the early days, our commitment to our customers has remained constant. We know our products, are on excellent terms with our suppliers and manufacturers and have an ever-increasing loyal customer list.
