Power and Pyro are a well recognised power & lighting service provider based in the South-west of the UK. With an extensive and high profile client base such as JCB & Yeo Valley we are well established as the go-to organisation for any power & lighting needs. We work closely with many organisations within many industries; festivals, markets, fairs, TV & film, leisure & construction just to name but a few. We are also a pyrotechnics specialist and are well respected in our field for our creative, professional and safe firework and pyrotechnic displays; we have worked with local authorities providing the pyrotechnics for Christmas light switch-ons and also private clients for weddings and parties. We are now getting new equipment so we can do better displays and be able to put on displays to music.
In addition to the power & lighting services we provide, we have a large retail presents with two branches in Somerset and an ecommerce website all of which offer a large supply of fireworks and electrical products to tradesman and the general public. We work closely with many major market leading brand names including Famatel, Martindale, Lewden, Maypole, GloForce and many more.
Power and Pyro was created in August 2016 by the organisations current Managing Director, Craig Cox. With over 10 years of experience within the staging and events industries Craig never envisaged the rapid growth and thriving business it is now.
When the business was created Power & Pyro was predominately trading within the festival & events industry; however, over time our business has evolved and we have diversified into many other industries as well as providing bespoke engineering solutions, pyrotechnics and firework displays.
Over the last 6 months both our client base and our workforce has grown extensively and we now have annual contracts with both local businesses, authorities and national brands. We currently provide our services to clients throughout the South-west but over the next 12 months our expansion programme will see us trading in new regions throughout the UK.
Our hire business has seen year-on-year growth making it the strong brand it is today . This progressive and organic growth is as a result of new and exciting festivals and street fairs singing up to the amazing experience that we offer and us diversifying into other areas such as construction and the leisure industry. Power and Pyro is also part of the EHA / HAE (Events Hire Association / Hire Association Europe). This membership gives our clients peace of mind that Power & Pyro operates to the highest of standards and it is because of this; Chives, was appointed as a board member of the EHA with responsibilities for event equipment & power generation.
The retail face of our business has also extensively grown in recent months; with the rebranding of the business, the redesign & launch of our fully ecommerce website and the opening of another store, Power and Pyro has taken great strides into the retail & wholesale markets. We are proud stockists of 15 of the industry's leading brands and this is set to increase during 2017. Whatever your needs, we are able to source the products your require.
Pyrotechnics & firework displays are a great way for us to showcase our creative flair and professionalism. The pyrotechnics element is a huge part of the Power and Pyro business, the staging and theatre backgrounds of the team members positions us well to be able to cater for all events from theatre, music concerts right through to event and product launches.
On a larger scale, Power & Pyro also provide professional firework displays for all occasions. Our talented and dedicated team work closely with our clients to establish exactly what they require. We have packages that suit all type of occasions & budgets, and have regular bookings for weddings, parties, corporate events and larger town displays you would expect to see around Guy Fawkes night.
