The Play Den Nursery is a family owned unique setting, operating from premises in Upper Stratton, Swindon. Committed to the ‘home from home’ environment, we believe that children learn best when they feel safe, secure and have formed emotional attachments to key adults. We do this by:

using online ‘Learning Journals’ (provided by Tapestry) that chronicles observations and assessments of your child.

Helping all little learners achieve their goals

We are pleased to be able to share with our families that we received GOOD in all areas following our recent Ofsted inspection. A full copy of the report has been emailed to our parents and carers and is shared under our 'Ofsted' icon on our webpage.

The children enjoyed a range of activities. The younger children went to the garden centre to look at the lights and see the decorations. Ladybirds and Butterflies enjoyed making reindeer food, writing letters to Father Christmas and mark-making in shaving foam, decorating the Christmas tree, making cards and craft for home and making (and riding) in their sleigh.
