Originally set up as Collective Media Agency, the company began life as a photography, video, music and promotions agency. Brother Mitchell and David Remes began working together creating great media campaigns for clients across Birmingham
Mitchell becomes sole proprietor of Collective Media Agency and moves out of the company’s Jewellery Quarter base at the Big Peg. Clients up to this point have included Orange, HSBC and Levi’s.
Adam Snelleksz first commissions Collective Media Agency to create a promotional video aimed at attracting Usain Bolt and the Jamaican athletics team to Birmingham for their London 2012 Olympic training camp. It works. Further large projects are commissioned including videos for the Birmingham Half Marathon and the Trampoline World Championships
Adam joins Mitchell on a part time basis and some new changes come into being including a complete rebrand including a new name and logo. Collective Media Agency becomes shortened to CMA Video – the word video is added to emphasise the focus on video production as the sole operation of the company
Adam and Jack Buck begin to work more with Mitchell as the company starts to grow and gains an ever increasing reputation. Clients include the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham and CMA Video is commissioned to create it’s first cinema advert. A new logo and website are created to reflect the company’s bold new attitude
As CMA Video’s growth continues, another rebrand comes along. This time to reflect the company’s confident position in the market. After working with the likes of Microsoft, Legoland, Drayton Manor and many more, CMA Video is amongst the best known video production companies in it’s field. As the B2B market changes and video becomes a key element in content marketing, CMA Video is looking to be at the forefront of the video revolution
