Aerohydro consulting ltd develop safety critical monitoring and control systems at Daedalus airfield in Hampshire, UK.

We are a team of engineers with a background multi-disciplinary engineering in Aerospace, Marine and Utilities industries. Experience includes developing intelligent aircraft monitoring systems, monitoring and control systems for national infrastructure as well as more general commercial and industrial electronic and software control and monitoring systems.

Andrew has studied both Electronics Engineering and Naval Architecture in London and Southampton. He trained to fly with the Royal Air Force in 1989 and since then has been a GA pilot, now flying out of Daedalus airfield in Hampshire, UK. After leaving the RAF in the mid 1990’s he returned to University and trained as a Naval Architect and then worked as a yacht designer developing sailing and luxury motor yachts. Andrew co-founded i2O Water in 2005, now a world leader in water networks control and monitoring technology. Andrew founded AeroHydro in 2015 to provide specialist design services focusing on critical monitoring and control applications.

We are located on Daedalus airfield in Hampshire UK. The airfield was first established as a seaplane base under the Royal Naval Air Service in 1917 during the First World War and has an impressive military history during both world wars with both the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

It remained a military base until 1996 and has since undergone many changes becoming the premier location for aviation, aerospace engineering and advanced manufacturing businesses in the south of the UK.
