Jonathan and Tim Brealey have been major figures in the hosting and domain industry since 1997 when they founded WebFusion. Realising that it was often too technical for small businesses to get their business online they set about building a web hosting platform that even novice internet users could use.
They were the first UK hosting company to offer a control panel, then called the Virtual Control Panel. It gave users the ability to instantly activate email features and manage their website settings all from one place.
In 2000 many companies were looking to secure a domain name for their business so Jonathan and Tim launched 123-reg, which today is still the market leader in domain name registration in the UK. They were able to drive down the cost of UK domains from around £50 per year to just £2.59 a year and again used sophisticated online systems so that customers were in complete control.
By the time Jonathan and Tim left WebFusion and 123-reg in 2003 the business had registered in excess of 420,000 domains and hosted more than 75,000 websites.
By now the brothers were ready to do something new so formed the immensely well respected brand Heart Internet in 2004. With a product line-up that included Reseller Hosting, Website Hosting, Dedicated Servers, Domain Names, Virtual Private Servers and their Innovative Hybrid Server product Heart Internet grew to be a formidable player in the UK hosting market.

A New Era of Reseller Hosting
Jonathan and Tim have come up with many innovative products over nearly 20 years in the industry including introducing the concept of Reseller Hosting, launching Web Hosting Control Panels into the UK, making Dedicated Servers affordable for small businesses and then later offering the same benefits with Hybrid Server technology.
After 10 years at Heart Internet it was time to move on and in 2016 Jonathan and Tim launched 20i.
