My name is Chris Davies and over the years I have worked as a programmer, business and systems analyst and Hogan systems consultant. I moved into project management in 2000 and obtained a post-grad certificate from the Open University, and PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
I first adopted Agile at the start of 2008 as a project manager and had immediate success with it. Further successes followed with many different projects, and in other companies. For some years, I headed up the Agile Improvement program at a major insurance company, introducing agile governance and coaching project teams. I broadened my knowledge into Scrum and Lean/Kanban, I read books and blogs, attended conferences and ‘meetups’, and put what I learned into practice.
