Manchester Animation Festival is the UK’s largest Animation Festival dedicated celebration of the animated art form.
Animation is everywhere, from the smallest smart phone screen to the largest cinematic projection. Manchester Animation Festival unites artists, practitioners, students and enthusiasts and all those in between to savour the many and varied achievements of the animated form.
As well as being the Director of Manchester Animation Festival, Steve is also the editor and co-owner of
, the UK’s biggest online animation magazine and community. When he isn’t doing this, he is a lecturer in Animation at Leeds College of Art and Manchester Metropolitan University. Steve has just completed a PhD in Animation at Loughborough University.
Jen is the producer of Manchester Animation Festival. Before setting up and running MAF, she worked for the Bradford Animation Festival (BAF) for 7 years. She is also the Film Programme Producer at HOME, Manchester’s independent cinema and arts venue.
