Carol and Karl have now restored the Farm back to its former glory to create the North Shire Holiday retreat.

Whether you’re looking for a short break in a tent, a long weekend in a caravan or very magical and unique family holiday in either our Shire House, Story Book Cottage or Gypsy Bow Top Wagons and shepherds hut, we are sure to have something suitable for you.

North Shire is a place for Holidays and adventures with a pinch of Magic for good measure. If you enjoy nature and the beauty of the countryside along with long golden sandy beaches, great places to eat and even better company then this place is for you.

Created by A Family with five children themselves North Shire has been made to please all even children who didn’t survive growing up. With Beautiful surroundings and within the North York Moors national park there is plenty to see and do.

The Stunning fishing town of Whitby is a 15 minute drive away, with bustling Dickensian streets and shire hole shops selling anything from sweets to antiques or even a shop where you can have a vintage portrait taken with family and friends.
