ABOUT MARTIN JOHN ASTBURY INTERIOR DESIGN LTD

Throughout my working life I have been actively involved with interiors and advising customers about different textures and wall finishes that suit their lifestyle choices as I served 18 years as a professional decorator for a high class decorating company in Cheshire, which naturally started my interest in interior design. As a decorator I started as an apprentice where I achieved my NVQ’s and my City and Guilds qualification then working my way up to become the supervisor. The latter part gave me vast and significant knowledge on how to deal and communicate with other contractors and tradesmen, which is now relevant and useful in my career as an Interior Designer. Having been a professional decorator it provided me with important knowledge of the huge array of wall coverings which are available and knowing where they can be used to create maximum effect within the Interior Design project.

This is driven by my desire to achieve total perfection and my attention to every detail. All my designs are meticulously thought about, whilst working to the client brief, ultimately creating visually stunning yet practical spaces. Martin John Astbury Interior Designs Ltd is based in Bolton, Lancashire and carries out interior design projects throughout the North West and North Wales.
