ABOUT CHAPEL TREE SERVICES LTD
Chapel Tree Services, based in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire was established in 2005 by Matt Long. It became incorporated in 2015 with his wife Jenny joining the limited company.
Matt has nearly 20 years of tree care experience and is fully qualified with an HND in forestry, RFS certificate in Arboriculture, plus all the relevant practical qualifications and First Aid training. His passion for trees developed as he grew up in the Wye Valley (AONB), one of the most tree covered areas of Great Britain. As well as working for various forestry and tree care companies in the UK, he has also spent time working in the commercial production forests of Finland and on the privately owned Baronscourt Estate in Northern Ireland. In America he spent 18months as a climber with Savatree in Boston, Massachusetts.
Jenny is an experienced Business Manager, who takes responsibility for all commercial, administrative and HR aspects of the business.
Chapel Tree Services is committed to recycling 100% of all the green waste produced from its tree operations. Woodchip is used by customers as a weed suppressant for flower beds and any excess is used on a local organic farm. Logs are the other green waste product and these are split and used as firewood or cut to lengths and sold as timber.
