Our beautiful old Heidelberg presses have been quietly singing their songs here in Gloucestershire since 1981 under the guise of Clarendon Press Gloucestershire Ltd. With the resurgence of traditional print Clarendon Press was getting increasingly busy with letterpress printing, to the point of needing to set up a separate company. So, in 2013 Cotswold Letterpress Ltd was born and is going from strength to strength.

Peter Roberts founded Clarendon Press way back in 1981 after many years in the printing industry in different locations around the country. Luckily for Cotswold Letterpress, Pete’s enthusiasm for the more traditional printing techniques encouraged him to keep the old Heidelberg presses running and he is actively involved in the day to day running of the company.

Here at Cotswold Letterpress we combine time-honoured 15th century letterpress printing techniques with the best of 21st century design and technology to create beautiful wedding invitations and personal stationery. True enthusiasts we love what we do and this is reflected in the care and creativity we give to each project no matter how large or small.
