We are dedicated to raising the standard of motorcycling by sharing the knowledge and skills we have acquired over the years with our students. I completed a 5 day direct access course with Steve. Even though I had been riding 125 bikes for 8 years I soon noticed I had ALOT to learn. Steve was a great trainer and really could not ask for anything better. Very calm but firm. He does not shout when you get it wrong but tells you why you shouldn’t do it and how to improve. I passed both my mods 1st time and was worth every penny. Thanks again Steve.
I decided to do my motorcycle training with Ride On as they are widely recommended by not only bike shops, students but long term riders and other instructors too. I was confident Ride On would the best place to be taught to rand take my Direct Access Scheme and to develop my riding skills further. The instructor Steve is a bike genius! He is always there, fully prepared and equipped for every lesson and very professional. To say the very least it is clear that his true talent is teaching. He is super patient, explains everything you need to know and learn very clearly and concisely and obviously has tons of experience teaching and riding. He does not skip a beat, and therefore I felt fully prepared when going to test. Not only does he teach you how to pass a bike test, but he also trains and teaches you how to ride for everyday life. When I started my training at the school it is fair to say that I was not a natural! But Steve was super patient, encouraging and amazingly helpful! I honestly could have not passed my bike test without him.
Took my CBT in June this year after a 32 year gap from riding a bike and today passed modules 1 & 2. I have thoroughly enjoyed the 6 day Direct Access course, Steve has a very direct teaching style that is too the point and precise. The radio contact you have with him while training is spot on, so you are never in any doubt what you should be doing and he even arranged for the sun to shine all week. Our training facility can be reached from the A338 Wessex Way. Take the exit signposted Bournemouth hospital, go past the hospital on the left and straight ahead through 2 sets of major traffic lights and take the first exit left at the roundabout. We are located on the left just over the bridge before the next roundabout.
