He has also taught adults with learning difficulties at Somerset College of Arts and Technology and at Cookery Workshops through 'Learn Devon' and the Northern Devon Food Bank. While working at Torridge and North Devon Council's he delivered road show presentations to local caterers across Northern Devon. This was a joint Council initiative to roll out the Food Standards Agency's Safer Food Better Business Packs. Daryl developed excellent working relationships with local businesses in his time as a Manager at Torridge, which was demonstrated through their generous feedback and comments. He is committed to equal opportunities and working within our rich and diverse culture in Devon, especially rewarding was bringing ethnic communities together at the Chefs' Corner Cookery Demos. Daryl has also facilitated food hygiene training for ethnic minority groups and can source interpreters as part of a package deal.
