Andrew started out as a QS and Estimator with Seddon Construction moving on to Brighouse Construction, based in Knutsford, Cheshire, where he contributed to the growth of the then small £2 million per year business to turnover £25 million per year within 5 years, moving up to the position of Commercial Director. Brighouse Construction undertook new build and refurbishment projects, ranging from £100K up to £13 million throughout the North-West and the Midlands. Their clients included St. Modwen PLC, Beever and Struther Accountants, Newstead Properties and Churchill China PLC.
Andrew moved back to Seddon in 2009 at the behest of the Group Chairman, as a commercial Manager and latterly an Operations Manager. He oversaw a number of new build care home projects nationally and also a number of retail shell new builds for New River Retail in Widnes. In addition he oversaw the construction of a new build Hyundai car showroom in Stockport and an Equine store in Rochdale. He left Seddon at the end of 2014 to set up Intium Construction with Mick Fitzjohn.
