CMS Garage doors was formed in 2010. It was a simple setup with a Transit van and a lorry trailer on a south Leicestershire farm for storage. The idea was simple - focus on customer service, reliable high quality new products and installation without compromise. Supplying and fitting garage doors around the midlands with this ethos, word spread and the reputation of CMS Garage doors for offering quality and value grew.
In 2012 CMS Garage doors opened up the first showroom in Wigston. A 600ft2 simple showroom, with careful planning it housed thirteen garage doors from Hormann, Alluguard, Ryterna and Garador along with composite front entrance doors from endurance. Off the back of this the company grew, with three fitting vans covering the Midlands for garage and entrance door installation. CMS became a Which? trusted trader after client nominations and an intensive vetting process.
Recognising the demand for secure insulated entrance doors, the decision was made to start selling Hormann's range of ThermoPro and ThermoPlus steel doors along with the Hormann Aluminium door range. CMS quickly became the go-to company for contemporary entrance doors.
In 2015 it was agreed that CMS Garage Doors Ltd. would become an RK Door Systems premier dealer. After 6 months planning and searching a new showroom was opened in March 2016 featuring a vast array of insulated roller, sectional and side hinged garage doors, automation systems and access control along side the UK's largest known display of front entrance doors in composite, steel and aluminium. By the end of 2016 the showroom will proudly display over 30 front doors with 20+ RK doors in varying finished and designs from the entry level Entre door right upto the ultra exclusive zen pivot door.
The company has grown but the ethos remains the same - Focus on customer service, reliable high quality new products and installation without compromise.

Many left us feeling dispirited and at times appalled at the hard sell, unacceptable terms and conditions of trading and we almost gave up our search. One very wet and windy day we ventured out to see CMS Garage & Entrance Doors new showroom in Birstall, Leicestershire and met Leanne who immediately was welcoming and professional and expended a great deal of time and patience trying to identify the product we required for our garage. Following a successful survey by George during the following week and several telephone conversations with a very patient Leanne we placed our order.
