Our tree surgery company was set up by David Sutlieff in 1999. While training in Arboriculture and Forestry at Brinsbury College in 1993, David began working for a well-respected, local contractor. After completing the course and winning a prestigious award in Arboriculture, David accepted a full-time role, which turned into a salaried position as part of the tree surgery team at Crawley Borough Council in Tilgate Park. From this, David benefited from a greater working knowledge of the tree surgery business and collaborating with local authorities. Following a promotion as a Chargehand Arborist after being employed by the company for 5 years, David decided to leave and focus on establishing his own tree surgery enterprise.
Over the last 18 years, David has continued to improve the services offered by Sutlieff Tree Services Ltd to become one of the foremost tree surgery specialists in the Horsham, Billingshurst and West Sussex Area.
