AB Motor Vehicle Services is an independent garage set up in January 2013 by Andrew Byrne, a fully qualified, diagnostic technician and MOT tester. With four years business trading the garage has gone from strength to strength and has a growing customer case.

Car servicing, vehicle repairs, MOT’s and diagnostics are all handled at the premises on the Bristol Road in Gloucester. It is a family-run business, Andrew takes care of the day-to-day running of the garage and his wife Hannah looks after the paperwork and marketing. A free car collection and delivery service is offered in the local area where you”ll often meet Andrew’s dad who lends a helping hand. Also on board is apprentice David, who’s ready to learn the ropes and follow in Andy’s footsteps.

Before starting AB Motor Vehicle Services Andrew learnt what he needed to know by working in main-dealership garages. This has been key for the garage because he can offer the best skills and service whilst maintaining industry standards at reasonable prices.

Main-dealerships run differently to independent garages so in 2011 Andrew worked in this family-run garage. After seeing both sides of the coin it became clear what key things are required to offer a professional and dedicated service at the highest level to his customers which sees the launch of AB Motor Vehicle Services in January 2013.

The garage is situated just off the Bristol Road. You’ll find us behind Autoglass, turn in and follow the path to the left, we are located right at the end of the driveway. Look out for our sign, you can’t miss it!!
