Our firework mission
At POB's Pyro, we aim to provide high quality fireworks at competitive prices, allowing you to make your celebrations really with a bang without breaking the bank. As we have no traditional shop for you to pop we hope to make your internet browsing as informative as possible. This is why we try to include as much product information as we can and have 2 if not 3 videos for each product. You may notice some slight variations between our own videos and that of the manufacturer but that's the nature of fireworks - they are all handmade and will vary slightly from batch to batch.
POB's Pyro is registered to store fireworks for retail and display purposes and we have an all year round firework selling licence. Our product and pricing strategy
We ourselves prefer being customers to energy companies, broadband providers etc. etc. that treat their customers with honesty and respect. Therefore it is only right that we offer our own customers the best customer service we can to match our own high standards!
For example, we no longer show the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of a product as this is a price set by the manufacturer and is sometimes (but not always) inflated to make it look like you're getting a great deal. For example the RRP could be set at £120 but with a real selling price of £60, making it look like you're getting a product for half price when in actual fact you are not. This is the case not just with fireworks but all around retail. Instead we just offer the best price we can. We also don't temporarily increase prices just to 'reduce' them back to their usual price to offer fake discounts and we don't do "50% Off" or Buy One Get One Free offers as there is no such thing - the "50% Off" price is just its standard price!
We also don't do psychological pricing, i.e. £39.99, as this often makes a product appear cheaper than it actually is (i.e. £39 instead of £40). We want you to be happy with the product you buy and not feel like you have been ripped off. For example we try and avoid products that have been "puffed up" with extra packaging to make the product look larger than it needs to be. Some fireworks, such as fanned fireworks, need to be larger for their angled tubes or for stability, but unfortunately there are some that are needlessly enlarged and will be outperformed by smaller products!

Products that are in stock are usually available within 24hrs of placing an order. Products not in stock have a notice in red on the product description page with a date stating when they are due in - these products are available to pre-order.
