Established in 1983, Ireland and Company is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. We offer a comprehensive range of accountancy and business advisory services to private individuals and companies in many sectors.
Kibworth still retains its “village” feel despite its growth, and our clients come from many areas including farming and rural backgrounds, local shops and businesses as well as larger businesses in the surrounding area. The firm is actively involved in the local community and churches and is happy to help community projects.

Educated in Leicestershire, Joanne first joined Ireland & Company in 1997, going on to study tax with Kaplan in Birmingham. As the practice Tax Manager, Joanne advises private individuals, businesses and trusts on a raft of tax matters including corporate tax, trusts, inheritance tax and capital gains. Joanne was appointed as a Director in 2016 joining the management team alongside James Ireland and as managing director in 2017.
James is no longer actively involved in client work, but retains his interest in the company and works part time to help with administration and to look after our charity clients.
Our other staff have many years service with the firm and offer a variety of skills both in taxation and accountancy.
Peter Anderson joined the firm in August 2016. Peter is qualified (FCCA) and after 10 years in insolvency work is now transferring his skills into general accountancy practices.
Anna Birch joined the firm from University and through her studies has gained a thorough knowledge of accountancy, book keeping and payroll.
