Claire brings a wealth of experience to the Wagada team, supporting on digital, direct mail, events, telemarketing, PR, social and branding.
In 2014, Dee graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a first class honours degree in English Language & Communication and has since pursued her passion for all things digital. Previous to establishing a career at Wagada, Dee managed varying social media accounts for a web design agency and animal welfare organisation in Yorkshire and Central London. As Wagada’s Senior Technical SEO Executive, Dee now works with a variety of clients offering essential SEO website management. This, amongst other tasks, involves performing technical reviews, writing and editing on-page content whilst tracking and reporting website traffic via Google Analytics.
Debbie is an experienced strategic marketer, having worked on both client side and agency side consumer and business-to-business accounts. She began her career in brand communications and promotional marketing with brands such as Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s and Cadbury, developing on-pack and in-store promotional campaigns. Debbie works across a variety of clients, managing projects and providing strategic input. In addition to this, other tasks include vital research and writing both on-line and off-line copy. Her passion for branding continues to enforce her strategic insights across every element of marketing activity.
Having worked in a variety of project management roles within the financial services industry, Shelley brings a detail-oriented and analytical approach to Google AdWords management for Wagada’s clients. Shelley is AdWords certified and works closely with a range of clients to create, manage and optimise quality PPC campaigns that maximise ROI. As well as analysing performance trends, she has a creative side and enjoys producing engaging ads and a positive landing page experience that ultimately lead to conversions.
Having graduated in BA Economics from the University of Reading in 2016, Sammy joined the Wagada team in July 2016. Throughout her university years, Sammy created a successful food blog that she updates regularly and blogging has now become a passion. After graduating, Sammy decided to switch her focus onto this passion for the digital lifestyle. Using and developing her skills as one of our Digital Marketing Executives, she provides on page SEO to clients, as well as operating social media and tracking rankings.
Mat graduated from Roehampton University in 2011, where he obtained a degree in History and then went on to work in a wide range of roles for leading UK holiday companies, including sales, social media and web editing. With several years’ experience in copywriting and digital content, Mat joined the Wagada team in 2016 as a digital marketing executive to pursue his keen interest in digital. Mat works with several clients, and his role covers content production and webpage optimisation, link building and social media, along with keyword research.
After leaving HBOS Emma set up her own successful blog and she has written advertorials for brands such as John Lewis, Butlins and the National Trust. Emma has a passion for the written word and can adapt her writing style to create compelling copy whilst meeting a range of business needs. Emma also loves helping small businesses to grow and to achieve their marketing aims via their social media channels, and she is skilled in helping with both the strategy and implementation sides of social media marketing.
Sarah has over 17 years’ experience mostly working B2B client side. Sarah was responsible for running the marketing department of a global IT and Telecoms software company, where she devised the marketing strategy as well as planned and executed tactical campaigns. Sarah also has experience agency side, having worked across a variety of B2C industries including retail, insurance and healthcare over the last few years. With her enviable experience supporting start-ups and more established businesses, as a Digital Account Manager at Wagada, Sarah excels at logistics and project management. She brings a passion and wealth of experience to our clients.
